Business at Bisley - November update

Nov 4, 2020|

Further to the various guidelines across the country and the Government’s announcement on Saturday evening, I now wish to provide Bisley’s understanding, and our views on how we plan to manage our business over the coming weeks as England goes into lockdown.

Throughout the pandemic, Bisley's priority has been to ensure that our colleagues remain healthy and safe, while maintaining our commitments to our valued clients and customers. With our headquarters and factory in Newport, Wales, we are pleased to confirm that our factory is a safe and secure environment and remains open and continues to operate as we have been doing during the pandemic, as will all factory and operational related functions, such as warehousing and logistics.

We operate in a safe system of work across all locations. To support people working within the factory, detailed risk assessments have been undertaken covering offices, showrooms and manufacturing activities supported by factory and office-based inductions. Safe Operating Procedures are in place across all areas of the business and dedicated Covid-19 PPE workwear are mandatory in all shared areas.

Production is strong and working well; our Customer Service function and other office staff are supporting our customers while working from either their home or workplace and our Sales team is fully available throughout the lockdown.

We look forward to continuing to support our customers throughout this period. Our London based Showroom is open and we continue to welcome our customers, by appointment only to demonstrate our product ranges, and very soon we will have our new Belong range of home working furniture on display.

We can confirm all Bisley locations remain Covid safe and are thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis. PPE is mandated in all areas and hand sanitiser is freely available. It is very unfortunate and sad that we again have to go through this situation. I wish you all and your families the very best and we hope this period ends as quickly as it started.

Kind regards,
Richard Costin
Chief Executive Officer
