When you purchase something from our shop, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse our shop, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

SECTION 4 – WEBSITE HOSTING AND PROCESSING

The Bisley Web Shop is hosted on UK-based Digital Ocean servers.

Your data is stored in a website database, hosted by Digital Ocean and stored on Amazon AWS S3 servers. All data transferred to the database by the website is encrypted with socket layer technology (SSL), and stored securely.

SECTION 5 - PAYMENT

We accept all major credit and debit cards. Payment is taken from your credit or debit card at the time you place an order. Taking payment does not mean we have accepted your order and if for any reason we are unable to accept your order we will provide you with a full refund within 14 days. All payments are accepted through Braintree, a service of PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. et Cie, an integrated fullstack payment platform. During the payment process your transaction data will be stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After the purchase process is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our shop and its service providers.

SECTION 6 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

We use analytics software to view IP addresses of visitors to this website. We do so in order to reduce/prevent Click Fraud. We do so as a Legitimate Interest.

We do not connect IP addresses with other behaviour or data.
