RISOTTO Studio Transforms With Our Bisley Filing Cabinets

When RISOTTO Studio set out to refresh their workspace, the goal wasn’t just creating an aesthetic space – it was about crafting a more functional, flexible – yet still inspiring – environment for their growing team. With colour, character, and personality non-negotiable, we, at Bisley, stepped in with options that didn’t just organise the studio, but brought the whole vibe to life.
The idea: storage that deserves to be seen
As this new studio functions as both a working print studio and a creative hub, it was important for the RISOTTO founder Gabriella Marcella to strike a balance between practical storage and expressive display. She also wanted to incorporate a mix of colours, from vibrant finishes to subtler options which then would complement the brand’s bold graphic language.
The outcome: a happy space where every hue pulls its weight
Blending established Bisley classics with a bold use of colour, each piece selected for the studio redesign was specified in a mix of vibrant finishes, from Bisley Blue and Cardinal Red to Golden Sunflower Yellow.
Bringing order to everyday with filing cabinets and MultiDrawers
To keep the studio feeling open while still meeting the demands of a busy print studio, Gabriella leaned heavily into thoughtfully-designed storage such as our Home Filers and MultiDrawers. Giving Gabriella a place to tuck away essential materials, tools, and paperwork without interrupting the flow of the space, these pieces work quietly in the background, keeping everything organised but never out of reach.
What’s especially unique about Gabriella’s setup is the way she’s customised her MultiDrawers by swapping drawers between the different-coloured sets to create a bold contrast. It’s a simple yet effective way to make your newest addition feel even more personal, so, if you are even stuck between two tones and are struggling to make them work in your home, choose both next time and mix and match the drawers so you can create something entirely your own.
Outlines that tell a story
As a finishing touch to her studio, Gabriella also introduced a series of Outline shelving pieces to bring more of the brand’s personality to the forefront of this design. Used to display books, prints, and personal memorabilia, these pieces add a layer of storytelling to the space. Especially when these items are in a shade such as the Golden Sunflower Yellow – bright, uplifting, and perfectly suited to showcasing the RISOTTO studio’s creativity.
Gabriella highlighted how: “Welcoming people into my own design world is a key part of this experience. I want to share my passion for colour, process, and the positive impact it can have on our lives.”
