Parsons & Charlesworth joins us in Milan to discuss privacy
We’re partnering with Disegno in Milan to present a panel discussion which will explore what value privacy holds in todays’ hyper-connected world.
The discussion will explore how design conceives of privacy in a time of mass communication and will feature Jurgen Bey, Corrinna Gardner and Parsons & Charlseworth.
Introducing Parsons & Charlesworth
Parsons & Charlesworth is a design studio founded in 2014 by Tim Parsons and Jessica Charlesworth. Initially running independent practices, they joined forces to pursue projects that combine influences from fiction, science and the arts with disciplinary knowledge in craft and industrial design. Their work conveys the possibilities for change that design embodies. Tim studied Industrial Design before graduating from the Masters program in Design Products at London’s Royal College of Art. Since, he has practiced as an independent designer, design writer and educator. Jessica graduated from the Design Interactions program at the Royal College of Art. In 2007 she combined a career in service design with running her own practice collaborating on projects with scientists, artists, futurists and academics.
