Art and brand – the highlights

Missed our ‘When art meets brand’ event? The highlights are now available for you to watch.

Our last event of 2016 focused on how art and brand combine.  Our host, the design consultant Roger Beckett began the session by looking at the origins or branding and advertising (in short, it’s nothing new...) and our guest, James Burke, shared his influences and experiences that inspired his creative identity and which led to the inception of Acrylicize. 

The conversation explored how art is used to create narratives and emotional attachments to brands. James discussed some of his projects in working environments to demonstrate the how art can make brands feel human and relatable by telling their story, something which a logo alone simply can’t do.
