Essential storage for WYG

Working alongside Interaction, we’ve recently provided WYG with storage for their new office space.

Based in Bristol, WYG is a global project management and technical consulting company which employs over 1,600 people.   They approached Interaction, the creative workplace design and build experts, when they decided to move to a new office space in an effort to create an environment which reflects their business aspirations and their focus on employee well-being. 

WYG’s previous office was dated, cramped and didn’t support their modern way of working. Teams were separated and there was a lack of social spaces making communication and collaboration difficult, so Interaction set about bringing people together. 

Graeme Matthews one of our Business Development Managers explains how Bisley contributed “Because WYG were going ‘open plan’ they needed a lot of functional storage that would blend in.  Our Essentials range was perfect for this as all the products suite together perfectly, aiding sight lines throughout the office. The units also help to divide spaces naturally, making communication easier whilst retaining individual team spaces.”

The new office is bright, colourful and largely open-plan, with meeting and project rooms at either end of the floor.  Flexibility and choice has been built in; hot-desking areas, sit-stand desks, acoustic pods and moveable meeting room walls all contribute to this adaptable and employee-friendly work place. 

Sara Gammon, Account Manager at Interaction adds. “The storage requirements for WYG were for a variety of sized storage with a pared back style. The Essentials range gave a simplistic look that ensured continuity throughout. WYG’s workspace created a printing and storage ‘hub’ centrally in the layout to allow easy discussions over plans. Standing height storage was placed around the printers and plotters to allow for layout space. Desk height storage was installed throughout the workspace and full height storage for the administration team.” 

We’ve had a great working relationship with Interaction for a numbers of years, and we were really pleased they once again specified Bisley products. “From a Project Manager’s view dealing with Bisley is always a pleasure, their can do attitude is what makes them stand out above other suppliers. Even with last minute changes the requests are handled in such a positive manner that we can rely on the Bisley furniture being delivered on time and correct first time” concludes Lloyd Wright, Head of Projects at Interaction.
