Five Minutes With...Francesco Arcuri

Feb 10, 2022|

In ‘Five Minutes With…’ we share the stories of our Bisley colleagues and business partners, allowing you to get to know them a little better. In this feature, we talk to Francesco Arcuri, the new Managing Director at Moving Walls.

Congratulations on becoming Managing Director at Moving Walls – it’s a very exciting time for you. What are your short- and longer-term goals for the business?

It’s a very exciting time for me as well as for Moving Walls Ltd. At the end of 2021, Marcel Frick handed over the responsibilities of the daily running of the business to me. He will expand his role as a member of the board and will continue to support me. At the same time, we have also reorganised and strengthened our team, with two new colleagues starting in January 2022.

One of our short-term goals is to make our brand and products more visible. Our long-term goal is to establish an even stronger reputation and credibility – so that people automatically think of Moving Walls when they need professional tools for face-to-face teamwork.

What’s your favourite feature of Moving Walls?

My favourite feature is that you are not limited by uncomfortable spatial conditions. Teams can easily reconfigure, move, and replace our tools inside an office space and adapt the workspace based on their work processes.

One of the main benefits of Moving Walls is that they encourage collaboration and creativity. Do you feel that this was missing during the pandemic and as we all start to make our way back to the office, will Moving Walls be integral to bringing creativity and ideas back to our workspaces?

Absolutely. Our products are designed to ease the process of solving complex problems by working in groups. Moving Walls do not hinder you when exploring new ideas. Big ideas need a big canvas and that’s where we come in.

What does a normal day look like for you?

Because we are a small company with a lean organisation, a normal day at work normally brings lots of variety. I am always forced to step out of my comfort zone, which I really appreciate.

What is your favourite process of creating and launching new products?

One of my favourite parts is when you see a customer fall in love with your product and becomes a fan.

How important is sustainability when considering the creation and manufacturing process of the Moving Walls range?

It’s been an integral part since the very beginning of Moving Walls. All our products are built to last.

Where did you hear about Bisley and why did you feel that this partnership was so important for both businesses?

Before I started working for Moving Walls Ltd. I was in the financial industry for many years. So, I heard about Bisley for the first time when I started to work for Moving Walls. In my opinion, our products are a great addition to Bisley’s portfolio and a perfect match for expanding the versatility of their collections. On the other hand, Moving Walls can benefit from the stellar reputation that Bisley has earned over decades. Our products contribute to the creation of new and innovative solutions that ultimately make our world a better place. Moving Walls has always been a global active company. The partnership with Bisley allows us to reach even more clients and serve new customers from all over the globe

When you’re not working on developing new and innovative products, what do you enjoy doing?

I really enjoy being on the road and meeting new people. I like the exchange and the conversations with our clients, end-users and our various business partners.
