Conscious design

Precision engineered and built to last, your Bisley furniture will keep on working as hard as the first day you got it.

As Europe’s leading designer and manufacturer of steel furniture solutions, we understand how to get the best out of this great material. Nobody knows steel like Bisley, but in the last few years we’ve built a rich expertise in wood materials - the natural partner of steel.

Our dedicated team of designers have been joined by wood manufacturing specialists; applying the same knowledge that developed our iconic steel solutions to wooden furniture ranges.

We understand the possibilities and limitations of a broad range of wood materials. Whatever your requirements, we have the skills to help bring you useful, beautiful, bespoke solutions that will last.

Create something beautiful for your space.

  • The lifetime of each product is optimised to increase reliability and durability.

Reuse, Recycling and End of Life

+
  • The Product Design team work to incorporate interchangeability of parts to further extend our products’ life.
  • The team design to allow for ease of upgrading/retrofitting of new interior fitments i.e., partitions and shelves to renew the product.
  • The team also work to ensure that the material can be segregated easily when the product is at its end of life to enable and promote recycling.

Packaging and transportation

+
  • Each product’s packaging, design, and environmental impact is considered throughout the design process.
  • The transportation of each product is considered throughout the design process, to maximise space and load efficiency.
  • We only use packaging materials that are easily recyclable.
  • Doing this ensures that we limit the use of single-use plastic packaging materials.
