HR Wallingford

Bisley storage solutions have been widely employed in the new workspace for HR Wallingford, a world-leading specialist consultant in hydraulic engineering and water management.

Architect DLA designed the new building, located in Wallingford, Oxfordshire,
which houses 200 employees across three floors. The offices are arranged with a mix of cellular and open-plan working, plus reception, library, meeting and break-out areas.

The 200 Bisley LateralFile™ SystemFile™ hybrid storage units were specified in grey with timber tops to perfectly match the Bene T-Platform workstations, helping to give the workplace a light and natural feel. They were complemented by 204 Bisley BIP pedestals and a dozen special recycling units.

In open plan areas, the amount of local storage around desk clusters has been maximised, to accommodate a large number of technical documents, research materials and plans. Banks of storage also help to break up the space and define circulation routes through the workplace.
