The Technology Strategy Board (TSB) is an executive non-departmental public body (NDPB), established by the Government in 2007 and sponsored by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (DBIS). Essentially it is all about driving innovation, so it is apt that TSB is the first business to install Bite, Bisley’s unique mobile storage unit.

Based in Swindon, TSB has 120 employees, 50 per cent of whom are freelance consultants with no requirement for a permanent desk. Bite is ideally suited to this flexible working style offering multi-functional storage as well as creating a sense of personal space. By using Bite combined with a ‘non theatrical’ approach to the space planning, designer David Leon and Associates has achieved a 30 per cent reduction in total floorspace used (1,800sqm down to 1,300sqm).
A strong sustainable theme runs through the interior design scheme and products have been re-used and modified where possible, while specified products were selected with their green credentials in mind.
