Bisley Bite earns red dot honourable mention
British steel storage manufacturer Bisley has been awarded an “honourable mention” in the prestigious international red dot design award 2010.
The honourable mention was given to Bisley’s innovative Bite® mobile storage unit, designed to support bench-style working. Since its launch in 2008, Bite® has garnered much praise and favourable press coverage. Its development was fuelled by a competition held with design students at the University of the West of England.
With more than 12,000 submissions from over 60 countries, the red dot design award is the world’s largest design competition. There are three categories – product design, communication design and design concept. Bite® was entered in the product design category.
“The red dot design award is at the very pinnacle of international design competitions and we are delighted to receive this recognition for Bite®,” commented Richard Blackwell, Bisley UK Sales and Group Marketing Director.
